Wix App · Add to Calendar

Save the event to a calendar

Visitors open Google, Yahoo, or Outlook, or download an Apple calendar file. Saving adds the event to their calendar. It does not register them.

Add to Calendar
Four calendar actions

Google and Yahoo open in a new tab. Apple downloads an .ics file. Outlook opens on the web.

Manual or CMS

Type the event in the widget settings, or bind one CMS item by the page slug.

Wix Events plugin

Save this event from the Event Details header or details area. Saving does not register the visitor.

Explicit time zones

Timed events use a confirmed IANA zone. Missing or ambiguous times stay hidden instead of guessing.

FAQ

Common questions

What does Add to Calendar ship?

A site widget with settings, and a Save event plugin for the Wix Events details header and details area.

Does saving register the visitor?

No. The buttons add the event to the visitor’s calendar. They do not RSVP, email anyone, or create a contact.

Which calendars are included?

Google, Yahoo, Apple (.ics download), and Outlook on the web. A new tab or file is not proof the calendar app saved the event.

Can it read any CMS item on the page?

No. It loads one item whose slug field equals the page slug. It does not offer a general collection query.
